NAGS HEAD, N.C. (WAVY) – It’s warming up out there, and people can’t wait to head out to the beaches in the Town of Nags Head. Soon, the season for driving on the beaches will come to an end.

Permits purchased allowing vehicles to be driven on the beach in the Town of Nags Head are valid through April 30th, 2025.  Driving times are thirty minutes prior to sunrise through thirty minutes after sunset daily.

Next season’s permits will be available for purchase in October.
