Dr. Alex Hodges has been selected to be the MSN Assistant Chair in the Advance Nursing Practice and Education Department. Hodges will begin in this role when we return to campus in January.
As a true Pirate, Hodges received a BSN, MSN, DNP & Post Masters Certificate from East Carolina University’s College of Nursing. Hodges has been a Clinical Professor in the ANPE department since 2017, teaching in the NP didactic and clinical, core and project courses. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Educator.
Her research focus is climate change and innovative teaching strategies in online education. Hodges is one of 13 selected in the nation by the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty for the 2024/2025 Leadership Mentorship program.
