GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A man accused of first-degree murder after a fatal shooting in Greensboro earlier this year was arrested in Arizona on Friday and is awaiting extradition back to North Carolina, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

At around 2:07 a.m. on Feb. 25, officers, firefighters and EMS came to the 100 block of North Greene Street after getting a report of a shooting.

Two people were found suffering from gunshot wounds, and they were taken to a local hospital.

24-year-old Devonte Jamaal Stephenson was pronounced dead at the hospital. The second victim is considered to be in critical condition.

On Friday, 27-year-old Michal Michael Tyrone Styles was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona, on a warrant for first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury.

Styles is being held in Phoenix and is awaiting extradition back to Nc.

Investigators determined a fight happened outside of One17 SofaBar, which led to the shooting.
