
The Dare County Parks & Recreation – Hatteras Island Division has published their Spring 2025 program newsletter on the Dare County website, which includes a round-up of special programs offered by the Fessenden Center in Buxton from March through June
Spring registration for Dare County programming opens Wednesday, February 19, at 8:30 a.m. and Hatteras Island Youth Baseball registration is open now, with early registration ending Feb. 13.
Interested participants for all programs can also sign up online via the Fessenden Center’s Spring program newsletter webpage.
Programs for Spring 2025 include, (but are not limited to), the following.

The Fessenden Center is a multigenerational facility serving all of Hatteras Island with a variety programs and activities for toddlers, youth, adults, older adults and families alike. Located in Buxton, the Fessenden Center is home to the Hatteras Island Division of the Dare County Parks & Recreation Department and offers a wide array of Parks & Recreation programming, as well as numerous older adult and senior services.
