CAMDEN COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — A man wanted out of Virginia Beach in connection to making serious threats was arrested in North Carolina on Friday.
The Camden County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Virginia Beach Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit ongoing investigation in their jurisdiction involving threats made through electronic communications.
The suspect was identified as 30-year-old Bobby Dale Francisco.
Virginia Beach investigators obtained warrants for Francisco’s arrest, and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant for Francisco’s residence in the 100-block of Keeter Barn Road, South Mills.
Due to the serious nature of the threats, the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team was requested to assist. He was taken into custody without incident. During a search of the residence, items of potential evidence were seized and turned over to Virginia Beach authorities.
Francisco was arrested and is currently being held at the Albemarle District Jail under a $1,000,000 Secured Bond. He is awaiting extradition to Virginia to face charges related to the threats.
