The Currituck County Board of Commissioners passed two motions February 1 in favor of Miller Homes and Builders and Bissell Professional Group. Both groups sought amendments for greater flexibility in their respective business endeavors.

Sam Miller, who came to the meeting representing his wife’s bakery in Moyock, requested an amendment to the zoning map for his 1.05-acre property located at 155 Survey Road. Originally zoned agricultural, the property received a conditional business classification in 2018 and Miller appealed to the board
