Hatteras Island Baseball League is the newest recipient of a donation from the North Carolina Beach Buggy Association (NCBBA).

Hatteras Island Baseball League offers baseball to boys and girls from Rodanthe to Hatteras Village from ages 8 to 12. The kids play their games from April to mid-June at Burrus Field in Buxton and also use the Fessenden Center field for practice. The program combines with teams from Ocracoke, (and this year, Manteo), to compete in league play. T

The NCBBA donation will go towards baseball equipment, uniforms, umpire fees, and field maintenance.

For more information on the NCBBA visit the organization’s website at https://www.ncbba.org/, or their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ncbba.
