Holiday cheer and community spirit will take center stage in Hatteras Village next month, as entries are officially being accepted for the 2025 Hatteras Village Christmas Parade, scheduled for Saturday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m.
Organizers invite local businesses, non-profits, schools, families, and individuals to participate in one of Hatteras Island’s most beloved holiday traditions. Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries, and one participant will also be recognized as the Best Golf Cart entry.
Participation is free, and early entry is encouraged as the popular annual parade often draws a full slate of creative floats, decorated golf carts, music, costumes, and surprises.
Hosted by the Hatteras Village Civic Association, the Christmas Parade has become a seasonal highlight across the island, drawing crowds who line N.C. Highway 12 through the village to celebrate the start of the holiday season.
