Notice is hereby given that three public hearings will be held by the Southern Shores Town Council in the Pitts Center located at 5377 N. Virginia Dare Trail, Southern Shores, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the hearings is to receive input from citizens wishing to comment on ZTA-21-02 and ZTA-21-05, Zoning Text Amendment applications submitted by the Town of Southern Shores to amend Town Code Sections 36-57, Definitions of Specific Terms and Words and Section 36-89, Use, Occupancy and Construction; and on PSP-21-01, a preliminary subdivision plat submitted by Lauren Van Riper to subdivide the property located at 279 Hillcrest Dr. The draft amendments and preliminary plat can be found on the Town website at www.southernshores-nc.gov.
