Rick Godsey, chief building inspector for the Currituck County Department of Planning and Inspections, received a District Inspector of the Year award from the North Carolina Building Inspectors Association (NCBIA). The award was announced on July 22, 2025 during the NCBIA annual conference in Cherokee.
The District Inspector of the Year award is presented to an individual within the association who has distinguished themselves through their dedication and professionalism, standing out as a role model within the organization.
