Downtown Books loves a good romance and this week, not only will staffers be welcoming Annie McQuaid’s new novel Crash Landing to the shelves, but McQuaid as well!

McQuaid, a Raleigh author, will be at Downtown Books on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. signing copies of her debut novel Crash Landing.
