The Tri-Villages community will host its 7th Annual Kids Shop Free event on Saturday, Dec. 13, offering local children a chance to pick out holiday gifts for every member of their household at no cost. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo (RWS) Community Building.
Organizers are seeking volunteers, monetary contributions, and donations of new gifts for kids, teens, moms, and dads. Santa is also expected to make an appearance, adding to the festive atmosphere as children select and wrap presents for their families.
The event is free and open to all children, and families can sign up online by clicking here.
Following the Kids Shop Free event, the community is invited to return that evening for the Fitch Farewell dinner, also held at the RWS Community Building at 6 p.m.
