Brunswick County is seeking residents’ feedback in identifying critical health issues and helping guide programs and resources related to health care.

The county has partnered with Dosher Memorial Hospital and Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center to conduct the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment, one that is held every three years to identify and prioritize health-related needs, establish an action plan to address those needs, and improve the overall health of those who live in the county.

Residents may take the 2025 Community Health Opinion Survey online or by picking up a paper copy at Brunswick County Health Services in Bolivia, all six Brunswick Senior Resource Center locations, and all five Brunswick County Library branches, through Oct. 3.

Information from the assessment will be used to generate a report that will be reviewed with community partners to create a strategic plan for addressing the health priorities identified in the survey.

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. It is anonymous, confidential and offered in English and Spanish.

The 2022 assessment results are available on the county’s Community Health Needs Assessment webpage.

For additional information or to obtain paper copies of the survey, contact Brunswick County Health Educator Rachel Crowder at 910.253.2312 or via email at rachel.crowder@brunswickcountync.gov.
